Fantastic to support a national #LetGirlsPlay event at the local Sele School, Hexham 08.03.23.
Organised and arranged by one our longest serving volunteer coaches and local teacher Mr J Speed, volunteer coaches and members of our Football Development committee Campbell Maclachlan⁩, Mark Gradwell⁩, Lewis Foster⁩, Andy Auld and Jamie Williams helped to coach over 240 children and deliver an outstanding football session for Sele First School. We had children from Years 1-3 take part in football skills activities, play a variety of mini matches and take turns in an inflatable pitch. The kids had an absolute blast; foundations were laid for potential future coaches also as we renewed links with QEHS and their 6th form sports leaders volunteers who were great. It was excellent day and the club are proud to be supporting local community schools and National campaigns to encourage participation. Well done everyone involved.
